Applications are invited for a (10 PA) Locum Consultant in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine to join our well-established Respiratory team at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

This post is available to commence from 04 October 2021 until 03 October 2022 to cover a period of maternity leave.

Main duties of the job

The post will contribute to the General Respiratory Service which includes the management of children and young people with cystic fibrosis and tertiary referrals from within the East of England.

You will be fully registered with the GMC and ideally have a CCT in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine or Paediatrics with special interest in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview. The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
