This Consultant post does not include any other community responsibilities. There are 3.5 WTE consultants in CMHS and 0.6 WTE in Home Treatment team (HTT) in Mendip Adult Mental Health services. There are future plans for St Andrews Ward to be combined with one of our other inpatient wards, meaning you will have a fantastic team supporting you in this role.
We are delighted to announce that in November 2020 Somerset FT was shortlisted for the mental health trust of the year award in the widely acclaimed HSJ Awards. It follows a series of initiatives that we've introduced that have changed the way we develop and plan our mental health services by listening to and involving patients themselves. The HSJ judges said they were looking for trusts which offer excellent, patient-centric care built on strong engagement between clinicians within and beyond the organisation.
