Main duties of the job

This will be a full-time consultant post in general obstetrics and gynaecology and special interest in colposcopy and rapid access/Gynae Oncology. This is a varied role and involves candidates with experience in Gynae-oncology, rapid access and colposcopy.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

This will be 10 PA job involving Antenatal clinic, RAC/Gynae clinic, Theatres (QEQM) and Colposcopy. The clinical sessions will be 33 in number. SPA’s are allocated as per the RCOG guidance and would be 1.5 PA.

Resident on call session; 1 in 9. The on-call is resident working as 3^rd on call and this generally involves 4.74 PA.

The post involves liaison with Gynae-oncology team and attending Gynae-oncology MDM’s and theatres.
