Applications are invited for a 10 PA Consultant post based within the Neurology and Epilepsy Services at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust.This post will supplement the capacity of the existing neurology team in providing inpatient and outpatient care within the neurovascular and general neurology services.

We are the largest paediatric neurological centre in the UK and the principal provider of specialist child neurology services, both emergency and elective, for the North Thames region and the surrounding counties. The Specialty provides a national and international service for the management of rare and complex neurovascular conditions.

Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Trust is a postgraduate teaching hospital, linked with the Institute of Child Health (ICH). The Trust has 368 beds and provides a comprehensive range of paediatric specialties for tertiary level care.

The successful candidate must possess full GMC registration and be on a specialist register for Paediatrics (CCT or equivalent), and have a minimum of 3.5 years of Paediatric Neurology experience at tertiary level and have a minimum of one year experience in paediatric neurovascular conditions, or be within 6 months of award of CCT in Paediatric Neurology by date of interview.
