Consultant Haematologist - East Kent

Head Medical are excited to be welcoming applications from Consultant Haematologist’s who are looking to work on a 12-month fixed-term contract or substantive position, based in beautiful East Kent.
 

This post is to join an expanding multidisciplinary Haemophilia and Thrombosis team within a Comprehensive Care Centre, providing specialist care for adults and children. It is based in a large teaching Trust and as such, they work closely with local universities, including Kings College, London in training doctors, nurses, and health care professionals. There will also be close working relationships with the smaller centres based in Medway, Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells, Eastbourne, and Hastings. There will be an opportunity to develop subspecialist interests and it provides excellent research links and teaching opportunities.

Working and living in East Kent is very attractive, with fantastic schools, excellent transport links and great value housing; the cost of a detached family home in East Kent is like that of a small flat in London. Travel to the capital and beyond is quick and easy due to the high-speed rail link.
