We are looking for an individual to fill this new 10 PA post within the Dental & Maxillofacial Radiology Department at the Leeds Dental Institute.

The main focus of the post is to deliver the dental & maxillofacial radiology service within LTHNHST and support the delivery of head and neck oncology service and ultrasound service within MYHNHST. Ability to contribute to the full spectrum of the specialty (MRI, CT, CBCT and diagnostic and interventional sialography and ultrasound) will be expected if required. A commitment to teaching and training the workforce is essential. The role will include opportunities to work within a team to develop quality improvement and leadership skills.

The successful applicant should possess the DDR or DDMFR (or equivalent) and should be included on the Specialist List or within 6 months of CCT at the time of interview, if currently within a training programme within the UK. In accordance with the consultant appointment regulations, all other categories of dentists must be on the Specialist Register.

Applicants should have established skills in dental and maxillofacial radiology. A strong commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and a research interest is desirable.

Consideration will be given to applicants who wish to work full or part time and those wishing to job share.
