Salaried/Partner GP

We are looking for a motivated / enthusiastic GP colleague to join our team at Beacon Medical Group.  We are a Single Practice PCN base in Plympton and Ivybridge providing care for nearly 43,000 patients over 6 sites and are looking to grow our team.  Over the next few years we will also be providing care for patients in Sherford as the new town grows and are looking to proactively grow our team in anticipation of the development there.

As a Practice /PCN we utilise the ARRS funding to enhance our offer to patients and host a dedicated Pharmacy team (pharmacists and pharmacy technicians) Social Prescribing Team and a MSK team (first contact physiotherapists and GPwSI MSK) this helps address workload.

We also recognise the volume and different types of work challenging general practice and so have diversified the workforce having a Duty / Urgent Care team of Paramedics, Nurse Practitioners and Minor Illness nurses to work alongside the Duty GPs helping to address workload. We also have a dedicated Care Home Team (GP, Pharmacist and Care Coordinator) to provide proactive care in Residential and Nursing Home settings.
