Job Details

Applications are invited for the post of Fixed Term Service Appointment in the department of Ophthalmology, based at the University Hospital of Wales (Cardiff) and the Princess of Wales Hospital (Bridgend) to commence as soon as possible and will be fixed term till August 2022

Please note that in addition to the essential qualifications given in the attached person specification, MRCP Part 2 or equivalent is desirable.

The appointee will join an established team of 16 Consultant Surgeons providing a comprehensive and high quality patient care service across all ophthalmology practice.

Cardiff and Vale University Hospital Board is recognised as a teaching centre of excellence in a wide range of clinical services. Although this post is full, consideration will be given to applicants who require flexible working arrangements.

Applicants must ensure they provide the names and contract details of referees covering at least the last three years of their employment/training history in full.
