We are very keen to further develop our population health and preventative approach and increase the capacity and influence of public health in everything we do.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Consultant in Public Health with strong technical and interpersonal skills, who will be able to provide population health insight into our planning and delivery of care and support the delivery of the best value services. The post holder will provide high level public health expertise into the development of a range of projects, with scope to include in-depth development of individual clinical services through to high level horizon scanning of future Trust activity to address health inequalities, service models and clinical innovation.

The post holder will work collaboratively with their public health colleagues and will be expected to network with the different public health arrangements locally, nationally and regionally.

Medically qualified applicants will be placed on a consultant contract.
