DETAILS / SUMMARY OF JOB

An opportunity has arisen to join the diagnostic team of King's Cellular Pathology Team at King's College Hospital, Denmark Hill, as a substantive consultant (two posts). The Cellular Pathology Team consists of 15 consultants based at the Denmark Hill site and a further 7 consultants on the PRUH site.

We are looking to recruit two substantive full-time consultants with special interests in Gastrointestinal, Molecular Pathology, Cytology and another specialty in Dermatology, Gynaecology or Uropathology.

You must be fully registered with the GMC, hold a Licence to Practice and be on the Specialist Register, or within six months of attaining your CCT or equivalent to be eligible for interview.

The post holder will have regular contact with vulnerable adults and/or children (0-18 years), therefore this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975, and as such, it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
