Required to fill this new post you will be required to deliver care to patients with Elderly care needs in a variety of settings including Community, Frailty Unit, Emergency Department and the Older people’s admission wards. They would link with Consultant colleagues in other relevant site specialist teams across the Trust. They would work with colleagues within the Emergency and Specialty Medicine CSU to deliver acute on call (currently 1:23.5). This includes both out of hours cover in addition to acute ward rounds during normal working hours. They would also contribute to research, teaching and new developments within Elderly Medicine.
