MEDICAL DIRECTOR

NORTH THAMES GENOMIC LABORATORY SERVICE (4 PAs)

Applications are invited for the role of Medical Director of the North Thames Genomic Laboratory Service.

The post holder will be the Medical lead for the North Thames Genomic Hub, one of 7 genomic laboratory hubs that form part of a national network with the Genomic Medicine Service Alliances to form the Genomic Medicine Service.

The role will advise on the strategic development and delivery of all areas of the Genomic Lab Service and sets the strategic direction for the Genomic Laboratory Hub along with the Senior Leadership Team.

This role is open to Clinical Geneticists and other physicians with expertise and experience in Genomics.

Consultant in Clinical Genetics and Genomic Medicine (10 PAs)

Consultant in Clinical Genetics and Genomic Medicine (6 PAs)

Candidates who are interested in both the Medical Director and Clinical Genetics roles are welcome to apply for both – the 6 PA clinical role can be combined to create a 10PA post. Please indicate in your application if this is the case.
