An exciting opportunity has arisen for the successful applicant to relocate to the Island.

The role of Consultant in General Medicine & Respiratory Medicine will join the Medical Services team within Health & Community Services at an exciting time of the implementation of the Jersey Care Model depicting how healthcare will be delivered in Jersey for years to come. The post holder will have the opportunity to participate in the Our Hospital programme designing the future hospital for Jersey.

The Respiratory Medicine Team reflects a medical model comprising of Middle Grade in General Medicine with respiratory interest as well as a team of respiratory nurses. For general medicine ward work the team will also comprise of a clinical fellow & FY1 doctor.

Full travelling expenses are paid from a UK port of entry for attending interviews, with a generous £8,000 relocation package available as well as the appointee taking advantage of Jersey taxation policies. The post attracts a licence for work under local residential qualifications and Jersey has excellent affordable private education for children. Under Jersey Law, applicants must possess FULL registration with the General Medical Council and hold a licence to practise.
