The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust are looking for enthusiastic doctors to join our Acute Medicine team.

The Trust has recently agreed an extensive business case to support a significant expansion of services and we are keen to grow the department into a modern contemporary unit. With this mind, we are currently recruiting to a number of roles to support an expanding range of practice. This is an opportune time to join the department to help shape its future and build a legacy.

We are recruiting to the following roles: + Consultant (Substantive) + Locum NHS Consultant + Clinical Fellow (ST3+) + Clinical Teaching Fellow (ST3+)

Why work with us? We are an aspirational team in a teaching hospital with a friendly and supportive medical and nursing team. Many consultants employed here worked in the trust as registrars and have returned to an organisation and area in the country that they felt best supported them and their family life. There is an opportunity for a flexible job plan to suit your personal and professional ambitions. We will also support clinicians who may not be on the specialist registrar but would like to work toward getting their CESR qualification so that they can become eligible for permanent substantive posts.

Shropshire is a place with outstanding beauty with easy train and driving links to major cities including Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool and their international airports. Shropshire is ideally located between the West Midlands and North Wales which is abundant in outdoor activities, brilliant beaches, and thrilling scenery. We have excellent schools in Shropshire making it an ideal location for those candidates wishing to build a family life.
