Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT) invites applications for two Consultant Psychiatrists to join established inpatient and Crisis Resolution / Home Treatment (CRHT) teams.

Main duties of the job
These posts have arisen as a result of service expansion and inpatient vacancy. The appointment is for two Consultant Psychiatrists to provide leadership to these services in partnership with multidisciplinary teams.
Both posts are based on a 10.5PA job plan (7.8PAs for direct clinical care and 2.7PAs for supporting professional activity) providing 5PAs to the CRHT team and 5.5PAs to a 22 bed female ward (Swanswell).The posts also requires participation in a Consultant on call rota with a frequency of approximately one in fifteen.

The post holder should be a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, or have an equivalent postgraduate qualification in Psychiatry, full GMC Registration and eligibility for inclusion on the Specialist Register in Psychiatry (or within 6 months of completing CCT). They must also be eligible for Approved Clinician Status and be Section 12 approved.
The post holder must have a valid driving license and access to an appropriate means of independent transport commensurate with travelling needed to fulfil the role.
