Locum Consultant Psychiatrist at the South West Short-Term Support Team

Applications are invited for a Consultant Psychiatrist for the South West Short Term Support Team in Lambeth. A vacancy has arisen due to the current holder having moved another team in the community for further career progression.

Post will be initially for a period of 6 months with a possibility of extension.

Start date is in early March 2021.

Job Title:                    Consultant Psychiatrist in general adult psychiatry

Grade:                         Consultant

Hours:                         37.5 (10PAs)

Tenure:                       Trust locum for 6 months

Department:               Psychiatry

Base:                           South West Living Well Centre, 380 Streatham High Road, London SW16 6HP

Report to:                  Dr Nozomi Akanuma, Associate Medical Director – Lambeth Operations Directorate

Responsible for:   Providing senior medical input to the South West Short Term Support Team and other LWC-based activities, eg Consultant Connect and the Single Point of Access

Prof accountable to:  Dr Nozomi Akanuma, Associate Medical Director – Lambeth Operations Directorate.
