These one-year Fellowships allow the fellow to gain both clinical and research experience in technical radiotherapy with an emphasis on proton therapy. Each post will have a clinical (80%) and a research/CPD (20%) role. The posts are suitable for senior trainees in clinical oncology, post-FRCR or equivalent. Overseas applications are most welcome.
The rotation includes experience and exposure to various proton therapy teams: CNS and base of skull tumours, sarcoma, paediatrics and head and neck. Exact details of the rotation are flexible to suit the learning and development needs of fellows. At the end of this fellowship, assuming the fellowship milestones are met, the successful candidate will be credentialed as a proton practitioner in specific disease sites. Opportunities to further develop teaching, management and leadership skills during the fellowship are available and encouraged
