(On-calls on the Middle Grade Rota)

Applications are invited to apply for an Acute Consultant in Paediatrics at the West Suffolk Hospital, Bury St Edmunds. This is a substantive, part-time post which may in the future, lead to having the opportunity to take on additional PAs to increase the activity.

This post has risen after one of consultant’s decision to work less than full time. It is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly, cohesive and innovative team of 14 substantive Consultants who are committed to delivering high quality paediatric care.

The post has been developed for individuals who have entry on the Specialist Register in Paediatrics or be within six months of attaining a Certificate of Completion of Training at the time of interview. This post is for 6.0 programmed activities (on average) per week. It includes sharing of one line on the middle grade rota for evening, nights and weekends with 2 other acute consultants.
