Full or part time General Practitioners
Openings for full or part time GPs on the beautiful island of Jersey in the Channel Islands
We are a large established training practice working across 3 branches and providing a wide range of medical care across the whole island of Jersey which is the largest of the Channel Islands (population 110,000). We are only 12 miles from the French coast which allows easy access to the whole of Europe and also have good transport links with the UK.
As with all the GPs in the channel island we are a private practice which means low list sizes and much less bureaucracy - no CQC for instance. This gives time for real personal care as well as specialist interests. Although we are not part of the NHS we have close links with Wessex Deanery for training and currently have an ST2 trainee in post. There are also close links with various UK hospitals for tertiary care, especially Southampton and Oxford.
As a partnership we strive for a good work / life balance to allow us to enjoy all the many opportunities that come with living in the most southerly & sunny place in the British Isles! Jersey has world class beaches and restaurants as well as excellent local schools and low levels of taxation. It is a very family friendly island with low levels of crime and offers excellent quality of life overall.
Jersey and the Channel Islands generally have been very lucky with COVID and have rigorous testing and screening processes in place. This allows us to continue to offer a high percentage of face to face appointments safely and enjoy life outside work with minimal restrictions.
We are recruiting due to recent & planned retirements and therefore have openings potentially for 2 or more GPs in either salaried (10K per session) or partnership roles. Interviews can be arranged via Zoom if preferred given the current travel restrictions.
