Head Medical are excited to be recruiting for a Consultant in Care of the Elderly to work in Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary, a new purpose-built state of the art hospital.  

Working in Dumfries & Galloway will give the successful Doctor the chance to show their dedication and determination in providing high-quality clinical care to the area. You will benefit from the support of an enthusiastic and experienced multi-professional team committed to providing excellent patient care. If successful you will join a growing multi-professional team within Ward C4 and will shape service designs around frailty, front door and outreach to the community hospitals.

To be considered for this role you must hold:

• Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
• Be on the Specialist register or eligible through CESR.

The post is for full time however we are open to discussing part-time or job share for the right candidate. Salary will follow NHS scales and be from £82,699 up to £109,849 dependent on experience. This job will be subject to a police check. Applications from those requiring a Visa will be considered.
