Location London: The Harley Street Clinic, Wellington Hospital, Private Care at UCH.

Working Patterns Vary - 10 hour shifts, 12 hour shifts or 24 hour shifts

Contracts available, part time or full time

  • Salary £60000-£70000 per annum depending on experience

Role Summary

  • The first class environment  has been designed to enhance the patient experience and enable the clinical teams to deliver excellent Cancer Care. 
  • You will be surrounded by a dedicated specialist Oncology team handling a vast range of patients with diverse, complex oncology health needs. You will be expected to work independently review and treat inpatients and formulate plans under guidance of the Consultant in Charge. Assisting with the medical needs of the patients and build strong client relationships with the private practice Consultants and Charge Nurses.
  • At Resident Doctor you will assess, plan, and deliver personalised safe and professional evidenced-based care. You will get to understand the private patient admission and discharge processes, conduct ward rounds, complete certain medical procedures as required.  This is a great opportunity to see the very latest technologies, treatments and therapies.

  • MBBS medical qualification, GMC registration and current licence to practice
  • Completed MRCP
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development or working towards.
  • A broad range of post-qualification Medical and Oncology Ward experience at SHO or Registrar level, leading on patients with cancer disease and managing cancer-related emergencies
  • Private patient experience desirable but not essential.
