Consutlant Psychiatrist

Are you a psychiatrist who wants to work within a trust who is keen to value you and your opinion in shaping its services? Are you interested in working with older adults? This opportunity has arisen for a full time consultant Psychiatrist to join The Older Peoples Mental Health community team in Southampton. This particular post is working in inpatients at the Western Community Hospital.

The post holder will work with another part time Consultant Psychiatrist ( 9 sessions) . The role involves providing clinical care and medical leadership to a 14 bedded OPMH organic ward.

The post holder will be based at the Western community hospital, William Macleod Way, Southampton SO16 4XE, where the community team and administration staffs are co-located. The post holder will have inpatient responsibilities and on call duties (approximately 1 in 12)

Please note that GMC registration (with a licence to practice) and right to work in the UK are essential for this role. Successful applicants will already have GMC registration or will be able to demonstrate they are eligible.
