LAS CT1/2 in Psychiatry

Swansea Bay NHS Health Board provides a broad range of community and inpatient services. The Health Board is one of the largest in Wales and the UK. The Mental Health Directorate is responsible for providing Adult Mental Health Services, Older People Mental Health Services, Substance Misuse Services, Forensic Psychiatry and Rehabilitation & Recovery Services.
We are looking to recruit to 1 Psychiatry positions at CT Level from as soon as possible until 2nd February 2021 in the first instance with a possible extension until 3rd August 2021 depending on the vacancies handed back by the deanery:
- 1 x Old Age Psychiatry until November 2020 which will rotate to Adult Psychiatry wef November 2020 until February based at Cefn Coed Hospital in Swansea (Band LL/ 2B £1295.40 per week paid monthly)
Although this post is not recognised for training, participation in educational programmes, audit and research will be encouraged and supported. There is an active Multi Professional Education Centre and Medical Staff are encouraged to use its facilities. There are also comprehensive Medical Libraries at all sites managed by Chartered Librarians.
