Renal Service Transformation Programme (RSTP)
Fixed term - up to 12 months 

NHS England is seeking sessional support from clinical advisors to support the National Renal Service Transformation Programme (RSTP). The posts include: National Speciality Advisor RSTP Clinical Lead and System Working Clinical Workstream Programme (2 sessions per week), National Speciality Advisor Renal Transplantation (1 session per week), National Speciality Advisor Renal Dialysis (1 session per week), National Speciality Advisor Chronic Kidney Disease (1 session per week).

The specialty advisors will work alongside the Renal Services Clinical Reference Group (CRG) and associated stakeholder groups. The roles will provide national level expert clinical advice and leadership to the RSTP, supporting the direct commissioning of this prescribed specialised service within the Internal Medicine programme area. The RSTP Clinical Lead role reports to the Renal Programme Board Chair, with other National Specialty Advisor roles reporting to the Clinical Lead position. The roles will work closely and in partnership with the Head of the Renal Services Transformation Programme. Reimbursement will be on a sessional basis in accordance with NHS England guidance.
