Applications are invited for a Senior Clinical Fellow in the Department of Women’s Health, based at the Sharoe Green Unit, Royal Preston Hospital, commencing as soon as possible, for an initial period of six months, renewable by mutual agreement.
The successful applicant will join a team of fourteen Consultants, eight Specialist Registrars, one Clinical Research Fellow, one Senior Clinical Fellow and ten first on call Doctors.
You must hold at least Part I MRCOG and have completed 3 years’ experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology- at least 6 months of which must be in an obstetric unit at the level of ST3 or above.
The post is 2nd on-call so it requires competence in Labour Ward management, emergency Obstetrics and Gynaecology. You will be required to carry out the full range of duties alongside Specialty Trainee colleagues. The duties are currently worked on a 1:9 full shift system.
