In the last few years, with new Welsh Government funding we developed specific services within CAMHS, including Crisis services, First Episode Psychosis services, Psychological therapies, Neurodevelopmental services and Primary CAMHS.

You will be supported to use your skills and expertise to the full, working as an integral part of a MDT, including nursing staff, psychology and therapists in various specific therapeutic modalities. The MDT provides an outpatient specialist CAMH service to children and adolescents up to their eighteenth birthday in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders. The primary role will be to provide direct clinical input to young people and families, especially those whose mental health needs are particularly complex, and to support the other members of the MDT in relation to clinical management of complex cases.
