We are seeking Senior Clinical Fellows to work within our Emergency Department, these are new posts which have been designed to support the Trust on-going response to COVID.
Lancashire Teaching Hospitals offers Clinical Fellows a unique and diverse opportunity to learn and develop their skills. As a Major Trauma centre, a Specialist Vascular, Renal, Neurosciences and Plastics centre there is plenty of opportunity to use this time and experience to determine your career direction, no two days are the same.
Our Senior Clinical Fellows work as part of a dynamic team and are a valued member of the team.Team being the word - #teamED works across medical, nursing, portering staff and our colleagues in NWAS and the co-located UCC – one team dedicated to delivering excellent timely care.
Candidates will be expected to work across both the Chorley and South Ribble Hospital site, and the Royal Preston Hospital Emergency Department which is the Major Trauma Centre for Lancashire and South Cumbria.
As a trust we are renowned for our teaching, training and support with modern educational facilities and simulation suites and we take your development seriously, ensuring all senior clinical fellows have a consultant supervisor .
This post is fixed term for 12 months and is a full time post (although applications from candidates seeking part-time are welcome). Full participation in the shift pattern rota with your colleagues is required.
