The team at Southmead Hospital, Bristol are looking for a consultant colorectal surgeon to join the current team of 6 colorectal surgeons. North Bristol Trust is a major trauma centre and the post holder is also expected to be competent in emergency and trauma surgery. Competence in colonoscopy and laparoscopic colorectal surgery is essential. We have subspecialty interests in North Bristol Trust which includes rectal cancer surgery, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and pelvic floor surgery. The post holder is expected to have subspecialty interest in IBD and a willingness to join another consultant surgeon in providing this service for the department.

Salary range: £77,913 to £105,042
