Gladstone Hospital emergency department is transitioning into newly constructed $42 million state of art emergency department. This position will give opportunity in developing and implementing contemporary evidence-based model of care implementation.
Emergency Department is approved by the respective college for FACE, FACRRM and GP training. Registrars and Principal House Officers will be supported by Emergency Department Consultants to not only deliver high-quality care to patients but are assisted in career progression.
Multiple positions are available to start in August 2020 or February 2021.
Mandatory qualifications: MBBS or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.

Gladstone Hospital is a regional hospital with a total capacity of 100 beds and treatment spaces, offering a range of general and specialist inpatient and outpatient services including emergency, general medicine and surgery, basic orthopaedic, clinical investigation, obstetrics, maternity, gynaecology, high dependency and coronary care, palliative care, medical imaging, pathology and paediatrics.
Gladstone Hospital is growing and has at present approximately 298 full-time equivalent staff delivering services across acute, community and primary care.
