University Hospital Limerick is our largest hospital, it has a full 24/4/365 emergency and critical care service. It is one of the 8 designated cancer centres in Ireland and the hospital has a dedicated 24/7 Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention centre, for non-surgical procedures for STEMI’s. UHL also has robotic assisted surgery with the Da Vini Xi Robot Dual Console for colorectal, gynaecology and urology procedures.

A new modern 60 Bed Block is currently underway at UHL comprising of three inpatient wards, each with 20 en-suite single rooms. Other new additions to UL Hospitals Group in recent years include a new a state-of-the-art Emergency Department at University Hospital Limerick, new dedicated Cystic Fibrosis, Dermatology, Neurology/Stroke and Symptomatic Breast Units, as well as a new Dialysis Unit and Clinical Education and Research Building.

We are seeking ambitious, highly motivated candidates for the following Consultant position:

Consultant in Paediatric Emergency Medicine
