Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust has an exciting opportunity for a CAMH Consultant to join well established Community CAMH service in Peterborough.
Community Core and Neurodevelopmental CAMH Consultant 10 PA
Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to recruit a Child and Adolescent Consultant Psychiatrist to join a dynamic and supportive group of consultants and multidisciplinary team.
CPFT is a designated Cambridge University Teaching Trust, provides comprehensive mental health services to the people of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. CPFT is aligned with the University of Cambridge Department of Psychiatry which is internationally recognised as a 5* leading centre for research.
The post is based in Peterborough CAMHS; an established and innovative integrated psychiatric and paediatric community service. This post gives an exciting opportunity to work across core CAMHS and the neurodevelopment and disability service. We have full electronic health records and have successfully implemented CAPA. The post would suit an energetic and creative clinician looking for their first experience at consultant level or an experienced clinician. The service benefits from excellent working relationships with local CPFT specialist teams, including Adolescent Secure Care Health In-Reach, Adolescent Complex Cases and Forensic CAMHS services.
Depending on the interests of the post-holder there are excellent opportunities to be involved in management, service development, and under/post-graduate teaching. There are excellent links with the academic department and the potential for consultants to be involved in research.
Peterborough has excellent road and rail links with London (50 minutes to Kings Cross) and the North. The area is surrounded by beautiful country side and has a number of excellent state and private schools.
Applicants must have GMC registration with a Licence to Practice and be on the specialist register or be within 6 months of their CCT date at interview.
