Consultant Orthopaedic Sarcoma Surgeon
Applications are invited for the newly created post of Consultant Orthopaedic Sarcoma Surgeon, based at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, part of the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
We are seeking a new full time (10 PA) consultant to join our existing enthusiastic and experienced team of orthopaedic oncology surgeons.
The Oxford Sarcoma Service is involved in many innovative initiatives to enhance the provision of surgery for both bone and soft tissue sarcoma whilst continuing to work closely with academic colleagues to build the evidence base for surgical procedures. We are looking for an applicant who is a team player and has relevant experience in both the management of sarcoma, including experience in using multidisciplinary team working and in undertaking complex reconstructive surgery to the hip, pelvis, knee and other site-specific areas as required.

The service is closely aligned with the Nuffield Department of Orthopaedic’s, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences at the University of Oxford, with many opportunities for collaboration.
You must be fully registered with the GMC/GDC and hold a full License to Practise and be on the specialist register, or within six months of attaining your CCT or equivalent at interview stage.
