The Trust provides a full range of local hospital services across its different sites, and specialist services from King’s College Hospital (KCH) site in Camberwell and the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) site in Bromley, Orpington Hospital, and some services at Beckenham Beacon and Queen Mary’s Sidcup.

The Trust is recognised internationally for its work in liver disease and transplantation, neurosciences, cardiac, haemato-oncology, fetal medicine, stroke, major trauma, and Emergency Department.

The Department of Anaesthesia at the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH), a division of King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed anaesthetist to join our friendly and progressive team.

The PRUH is inviting applications for an enthusiastic Senior Clinical Fellow, to join us on a 2 year fixed term basis. The post will be 40 hours, plus on-call commitment.

The Princess Royal University Hospital has 525 beds with further beds at Orpington Hospital, serving the local population of the London Borough of Bromley and surrounding areas. The hospitals are based in in leafy suburban town of Orpington, a highly sought after location due to its close proximity to many well-regarded primary, secondary and Grammar schools in addition to restaurants, cafes and bars. It is minutes away from Bromley town centre, which has extensive retail and leisure facilities and regularly appears in the list of the annual top 50 places to live in the UK. The Kent Countryside is in close proximity offering peace and quiet and recreational activities. Many staff live in the local area, enhancing the community spirit within the hospitals. For those who live further afield, the area is served by fast rail links to central London and a good local bus service in addition to being 20 minutes’ drive from the M25.
