We are currently looking to appoint a suitably qualified Consultant in Paediatrics (with interest in Diabetes) on an 8 PA (32 hours per week) basis.

We are looking for individuals who would relish the opportunities and challenges of delivering high quality care across the Highland Region.  The post involves sharing the responsibilities for the Paediatric Diabetes Service within NHS Highland, and participating in a range of general paediatric outpatient clinics and hot week/On Call responsibilities for the Highland Children’s and Neonatal unit.

The establishment currently comprises 10 hospital consultant paediatricians, increasing to 12 (6 WTE, 5 part-time 2.9 WTE), 1 combined post 0.9wte) in Hospital and community paediatrics and 5 (3.7 WTE) community consultant paediatricians (the latter do not take part in out of hours work).
