South Australia (SA) Health is seeking expressions of interest from medical practitioners, including International Medical Graduates, who are not already working in SA Health to register their interest to work, with opportunities available in metropolitan and regional South Australia.

This expression of interest is specifically targeted at medical practitioners who can demonstrate they are equivalent to:

• Medical Practitioner (Post Graduate Year 3 and above) – Resident Medical Officer, Registrar and Senior Registrar
• Senior Medical Practitioner
• General Practitioner

Opportunities may arise in varying locations across South Australia. The location of roles will be dependent on demand on healthcare services, potential locations could include but are not limited to:

• Any SA Health hospitals and health services (regional and metropolitan health services)
• Emergency Medicine
• General Medicine
• Intensive and Critical Care

It should be noted in the first instance, there may be more opportunities in regional rather than metropolitan South Australia.

The online application process will ask you for your preferred work location (including locations in metropolitan health services and regional health services across South Australia) and for any additional skills/qualifications/relevant experience that you have.

You must be registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner: General registration, Provisional registration (AMC Standard pathway), Limited registration, (AMC Standard pathway), Provisional registration under the Competent Authority pathway or the Specialist pathway.
