Are you thinking about the next move in your Medical Career?

We’ve got the challenge and the rewards you’ll want in your career, and a lifestyle that’s picture postcard perfect.

Dr Gray’s Hospital

Vibrant community, great lifestyle and an acute hospital transforming the way it delivers remote and rural health care? Sound appealing? Then we have some great opportunities at Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin.

Our District General Hospital is at the heart of the community and we’re investing in the future by creating sustainable clinical services. It’s an exciting time for you to join our team as a consultant in General Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Acute Care of the Elderly.

General Medicine provides a Consultant lead and Consultant delivered service within the Acute Medical Assessment Unit and Medical wards. We have a combined Medical and Surgical High Dependency Unit with 8 beds. These posts will most suit those wishing to provide direct care to a population with varied acute and chronic medical problems. The posts allow for a true general medical slant that is not available in bigger hospitals as our Consultants are very much hands on with support from the junior team and wider clinical MDT.

Full registration with a licence to practise with the GMC is required. For more information visit: www.gmc-uk.org

Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from date of interview or eligibility for specialist registration (CESR). Non UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.

Moray is a beautiful part of Scotland with a real sense of community. It offers an exceptional lifestyle with everything you could want close at hand including:

  • Affordable, high quality housing.
  • Great connectivity through Inverness and Aberdeen airports plus easy road and rail links.
  • A mix of excellent public and private sector education.
  • Exceptional beaches, forests, historical landmarks and outdoor leisure opportunities.
