Moving on Rehabilitation Service
10.5 PAs (including on call if joining the rota)
Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust are opening a new Moving on Rehabilitation Service based in the heart of Lancashire and we are looking for a dynamic consultant who can clinically lead a transformed service.
As a result of new investment, we have redesigned our rehabilitation pathways to develop new services in inpatients along with community & recovery services. The service will actively promote community rehabilitation, recovery and social inclusion.
You will work with an MDT on the 11 bedded inpatient unit as part of a leadership team to improve the care of patients. You will provide senior expertise in the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of patients admitted to the service, as well as providing specialist assessment and advice to colleagues working on the acute admission wards.
It’s also an exciting time to be joining LSCFT as we are expanding our Medical Leadership positions in areas such as suicide prevention, GIRFT, research and Mental Health Law. We also have an extremely active Medical Education department and support our Consultants in becoming Clinical Supervisors and nurturing their interests in this area.
- Established MDT including Nurses, Clinical Psychologists, Social Workers, Pharmacists, OTs and Admin Staff.
- Excellent opportunities to develop as an Educator, Medical Manager, Appraiser or as an Academic Researcher
- Fantastic newly built studio accommodation available if required
- Relocation package available as standard up to £8k
We take an innovative and flexible approach to planning your job with you, focusing on work life balance to enable you to make the most of all that living and working in Lancashire and South Cumbria has to offer. We have a Medical Relationship Manager who will provide dedicated and bespoke support in your transition/relocation and settling into your role!
