Milborne Port Surgery is an attractive, purpose built dispensing practice in a lovely rural village close to the highly attractive town of Sherborne with Abbey and castles. We operate a modern, flexible appointment system using EMIS Web, supported by the ask myGP triage and consulting system. We are a training practice, encouraging the development of special interests and the maintenance of a good work-life balance.

Our happy team benefits from a full range of multidisciplinary professionals (including nurse practitioners, prescribing pharmacist, musculoskeletal practitioner, community psychiatric nurse and health coaches). We pride ourselves on our very high patient satisfaction scores. Our list size is growing due to local housing developments. We currently have 7,100 patients, 4 partners, one salaried GP, one retainer GP and one GP trainee.

The Dorset/Somerset border is a great area to live in with excellent schools and easy transport connections to London and the beautiful Jurassic Coast. Applications welcome from newly-qualified and experienced GPs.
