Emma Kinloch

Emma is the founder of Salivary Gland Cancer UK, a Charity focussed on facilitating research into Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma and other rare Salivary Gland Cancers. In addition, it provides reliable information and support, to both those affected by these cancers, and the clinicians treating those affected by them.

Emma is Consumer Lead for the National Cancer Research Institute ('NCRI'), Chairs the NCRI Consumer Forum and sits on their Head and Neck Group. She is a member of the European Reference Network (‘ERN’) Head and Neck EURACAN domain and in 2014 founded a Head and Neck cancer support group in London, UK.

After graduating in Experimental Psychology from Corpus Christi College, Oxford, Emma pursued a successful career in finance, working in both Europe and Asia. More recently she embarked on a Professional Doctorate Programme in Occupational Health Psychology, focusing on Head and Neck Cancer and Work, having completed a related Masters’ degree in Occupational Psychology. Emma also holds a MSc in Criminology from the London School of Economics and is a fully qualified PADI Scuba Diving Instructor. She enjoys hill walking and wild swimming in her spare time.
