Opposing everything, everyone, every time is not constructive.
7 February 2012
Dear Editors,
All over Europe, when healthcare reforms are planned, doctors always protest and go on strike.
Opposing everything, everyone, every time is not constructive.
Instead GPs should actively participate in the discussions, planning and implementation of the reforms, proposing improvements.
Otherwise, they make it clear they only care about their established benefits and not for the viability of the system.
Participating is better than passively accepting reforms that are necessary and are going to be implemented anyway, often in an amateur way.
