Re: Managing motion sickness

This review is helpful, but limited, especially for those practicing in other parts of the world. In North America "Gravol" (Dimenhydrinate, which is a salt of diphenhydramine and chlorotheophylline) is commonly used, while in Australasia, metoclopramide, or phenothiazines, (especially prochlorperazine) which are commonly used for vomiting are also used by some for motion sickness. Comments upon either their value or lack of it, and especially their relative efficacy and/or side effect potential would be helpful in either supporting or changing practice.
