The White Death

For a well researched and beautifully written account of the history
of Tuberculosis, dealing extensively with the relationship between the
tubercle bacillus and creative genius, can I point the readers of the BMJ
to The White Death - A history of Tuberculosis by Thomas Dormandy. New
York University Press.
