"Enter freely and of your own free will." With this ominous greeting, Count
Dracula bid welcome to his victims. Apparently, Dracula needed his victims’
consent. At the risk of making an invidious comparison, I would suggest that
all medical students who are taught clinical pharmacology by pharmaceutical
companies, should receive Dracula’s greeting. The veil has been lifted, the
pretense of objectivity has been removed, and doctors are merely
pharmaceutical representatives.
