Treasure Chest

I fully agree with the article by Mary Renfew and David Hall. I work
with 'Treasure Chest' - a voluntary organisation that promotes breast
feeding in York. We are trying to implement NICE guidelines, which state
that every mother should have access to a peer supporter. As usual,
funding is a problem, but its not all about funding. The Government do
much to change attitudes by implementing the Breast Feeding Manifesto.
England should follow the example set by the Scottish Parliament over two
years ago and finally make it illegal to stop a mother breast feeding in
public.

Competing interests:
I am the mother of two exclusively breast-fed children
