Social entrepreneurs are altruistic visionaries whose innovative ideas help to
launch beneficent new businesses. Sadly, many of these businesses fail
financially, because the entrepreneurs are more motivated by idealism than
pragmatism. In order to succeed, the entrepreneurs must team up with
accountants and managers whose pragmatism can shelter and nurture the
entrepreneurs’ altruistic vision, which is sometimes worth its weight in gold.
