Poverty is pandemic. It has an ever-tightening death grip on every country and
reduces many lives to squalor. Why is poverty so ubiquitous and intractable?
Perhaps our hubris and greed have blinded us to the reality of hunger and
need.
Let’s renew our commitment to the Earth and its inhabitants, and become
stewards, caretakers, and friends, rather than land owners, bosses, and fiends.
