Facing death is life’s final and most frightening challenge. What will happen to
us? Will we disappear, or will we enter a new dimension and be greeted by
loved ones who predeceased us? And what will happen to our loved ones who
we leave behind? Will they be able to cope with losing us? Will they miss us, or
will they forget us? Alas, we are mortal and can’t answer any of these questions
for sure. So we must have faith in our Creator who brought us here and then
decided to reclaim us. Amen.
