Is infant male circumcision an abuse of the rights of the child? Yes

Where there is a perfectly healthy child, male or female, with no presenting symptoms to be addressed, no case for surgery exists.
The issue is not about comparing whether more or less harm is caused on the basis of gender, but about causing none at all. Intervention cannot be justified.
