Rapid Response:

This may be due to reduced testosterone...

It is my hypothesis that testosterone may be involved in cancer
initiation of cancer and increases in various cancers over time. For
example, female breast cancer has recently been directly connected to
testosterone levels. "testosterone might be more strongly associated with
[breast cancer] risk than estradiol.” (Journal of the National Cancer
Institute 2002; 94: 606-616). I suggest the percentage of individuals,
male and female, of higher testosterone is increasing with time.
Therefore, this may explain increasing breast cancer as well as increasing
colong cancer. I suggest soya provides protection from colon cancer
because soya reduces testosterone levels (Eur J Clin Nutr. 2003
Jan;57(1):100-6).
