    Every patient might be forced to have his or her medication analyzed. With trust in their physicians gone (Hill, 2003), so would be the placebo effect – the very thing from which are derived these benefits that we sometimes rely on. This is how considerations of scope must come into the analysis: it is not only the immediate parties to a health-care transaction who may be affected by it.
